Ryan originally hails from South Carolina, and spent his junior year as a visiting student at the University of Montana in Missoula. He then moved back after graduation to take advantage of all of the outdoor activities Montana has to offer. In Missoula he earned both his J.D. and M.B.A., as well as studied comparative law and Mandarin in Shanghai for a year. He has interned with Gulfstream Aerospace, the Federal Bankruptcy Court, and on Capitol Hill.

In his practice he mainly focuses on corporate, oil and gas, real estate, probate issues and estate planning. An aviation enthusiast and student pilot, he hopes to grow his aviation focused work. In his free time he enjoys running, distance swimming, reading, documentaries, and anything having to do with a plane.
